In the full length movie (below), 18 women share what they have overcome in their lives and see how they have risen to become inspirational role models.
My name is Amanda FitzGerald and I train entrepreneurs how to secure press coverage which means I would like to use my platform and PR background on shining a spotlight on black female entrepreneurs.
Over the years I have been honoured to meet and become friends with some incredible black entrepreneurs, but have always been appalled and saddened when reading their occasional Facebook posts about the racial abuse they have to put up with in their everyday lives.
I asked 18 women to join the ‘Spotlight on Black Female Entrepreneurs’ so they could share their personal experience of encountering racial prejudice, whether covert, overt or in the form of mircroagressions before telling us about their incredible achievements so we can celebrate their power and greatness.
I stand with you.
We invite you to watch the full length movie below. Every woman has a different story to tell, allowing us to walk in her shoes for just 5 minutes so that we can get an idea of what she has experienced and see how she has risen.

Racism is utter ignorance.
These ladies are very kindly helping to educate me as they share their stories of hardship and racist abuse. I have a lot to learn.
And look where they are now: they are leaders and inspirational business women, helping to transform people’s lives.
